{Girls Edition} Something new.

By: Mandy Hill

Good Thursday morning, lovely young lady,

I hope wherever you are, however this note finds you, that you understand the depth of love that your Father in heaven has for you. Yes, YOU!

“I ask God to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭14-19‬ MSG)

I know, young sister, that when you’re young the fiery darts from the enemy, are at times, immensely overwhelming. But know this: The Lord is growing you through each and every dart; growing your humility and strengthening your faith. Both of these attributes will serve you in incredible ways as you grow in years. His love will carry you through the times that you just can’t seem to fathom enduring.

Will you take a few moments and pray. Ask God to stir up something new in your heart. A passion to see His (and only His) will for your life unfold as you choose to journey with Him as your guide. When you’re done praying, take five more minutes and just sit in His presence. Experience the depth of His love; it’s amazing.

Bless my young sisters, Jesus. Please fill them to overflowing with You love, so much that they can barely contain their joy. We love You and we honour You today. Amen.
