{A Monday Minute with Mandy}

Good afternoon, friends!!

I am thrilled to launch {A Monday Minute with Mandy} today! It is through these short videos/discussions that I pray we can grow together as a community of believers and friends!

One you have watched this short video (ok, I’ll admit this first video is a little more than a minute….), I would LOVE to hear from you. If you wouldn’t mind sharing your response either in the comment section of this post- or via the Facebook thread found here: www.facebook.com/weareHisdaughters

Enjoy the rest of your day, friends!

  1. Hi Mandy, I loved seeing and hearing you. My rising times vary on what is happening each day. It could be 6, 7 or 8 am. After washing, dressing and feeding my two cats, I am on my coach with a pile of devotionals, books, and magazines which take about 45 min to go through. Then I get breakfast ready (egg, cereal, or toast). I take communion, have a time of prayer, eat then I check email followed btw Facebook. I’ve been known for spending a good four hours in devotional type reading. But I have lots of time since I am retired and have no family close by. That all changes when I am involved with P31 OBS and taking training.

    There was a time when I was married and had school aged children that I would go on drives after getting the kids off to school. We lived on a small ranch in North Dakota. I would drive north to an area that was overlooking the Missouri River. I would take a short walk and sit on rocks over the bluffs and breaks. If I was really stressed I would go there and commune in nature. I would always come back refreshed and ready to tackle life again.

    I have always felt closer to God as I commuted in a natural setting. Now it could be going to sit by Lake Superior. I can do that by taking two buses and walking just a short way.
